My name is Katarina. I am fully vaccinated. Application: I am 21 years old and a University student (3B psychology). I have worked with children as a nanny, in classrooms and in a camp counselor setting. I am looking for a full-time summer nanny position in London. I have worked one on one and with groups of kids. I have lots of experience with children with special needs (such as Autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, etc. ) I can speak French at a basic level (DELF B1 certificate). I am willing to do light house-keeping, light meal prep and pet care. However, I do not have my driver's license but willing to go anywhere on the bus.

Experience: I have worked in classrooms in Thames Valley and Durham Region. I spent time working with kids one-on-one in special needs and regular classrooms. I helped the students complete their work and explained concepts to them that they did not understand. I worked with ESL students and those learning the French language. I worked with kindergarteners and grades 1-6. I have also worked in summer camps for the City of London. I supervised large groups of children and taught them different activities such as arts, crafts, sports and games. I worked with campers who had special needs one-on-one and helped them engage with the group. I worked with campers ages 4-13, and spent extra time with campers ages 4-6. In Waterloo, I have also been a occasional babysitter for a three-year-old and six-year-old for a year now. Last summer (April-August 2021), I was a nanny for a 12-month-old. I cleaned up after them, played and went on walks with them. In July/August, I was also a part-time nanny to a 6-month-old who engaged in Montessori play. I changed her diapers, fed her bottles and played with her. I am totally willing to provide references.
