Emma A.
I am writing to express my interest in the nanny and household support position with your family. I am currently completing my degree in Childhood and Youth Studies and Criminology and will be returning to King’s University College for a fifth year with a part-time course load to complete my additional criminology degree. I am passionate about supporting children’s development and contributing to a well-run, organized home environment. I bring strong hands-on experience working with children. Most recently, I worked as a Summer Camp Counsellor at the Glen Cairn Community Resource Centre, where I supervised children, supported daily routines, maintained organized spaces, and managed high-stress situations calmly and responsibly. I have also volunteered with a Forest School program supporting kindergarten students in outdoor learning environments. In addition, I have several years of babysitting experience and genuinely enjoy building positive, trusting relationships with children. Beyond childcare, I am organized, dependable, and comfortable assisting with household responsibilities such as preparing breakfast, packing lunches, tidying and organizing the home, grocery shopping, and light meal preparation. I love to bake and enjoy doing crafts with children, and I would be happy to incorporate creative activities into our time together.
