Melissa S.
I am Melissa, a highly skilled and compassionate individual based in London. Having dedicated many years to providing outstanding care to children of all ages, I'm quite adept with different age groups. Even more, I am more than capable of working with children with special needs - an attribute backed by my Disability Services Worker accreditation from Fanshawe College. I have been married for over 20 years and have dedicated most of that time to being a full-time parent and homemaker to our two daughters which has been the greatest joy and most fulfilling role in my life. For the last ten years I have been employed with TVDSB in Student Support and occasional EA support positions. Three years ago I went back to school part time to achieve my credentials in counselling. I am currently finishing my L2 credentials I am looking for a part-time role where I can both take on the role of a nanny and provide care and support to a family. My proficiency extends to cooking, light housekeeping, running errands and fulfilling any needs the family may require in order to assist in the running of a home and busy family. My availability from Monday to Friday is mostly during the morning and the middle of the day - this would be perfect for families that need assistance in ushering the children into their day,, from preparing their meals to dressing them up, and ensuring they are engaged and guided during homeschooling periods. Being safety conscious, I'm proud to have certifications in First Aid and CPR Training. This is a testament to my commitment to providing a secure environment for your little ones. I am comfortable working with any number of children. I am ready to start immediately, bringing my love for children, patience, and expertise to ensure your child/children enjoy the best care possible. When it comes to nurturing children, every day is a rewarding experience for me, and I am eager to continue this journey with your family.
