To start off, I love being active, learning new things and getting outdoors. I have a great love of nature(and experience with first aid in outdoor settings) and would love to pass on some knowledge and respect for our environment. I’ve always loved being in a teaching environment and in a leadership role where I can help others explore their passions and find happiness in learning and movement. I have babysat for various families over the years and have always loved to do it casually along with other work. Other than that, I worked at the Bostwick Ymca for a few years and absolutely loved coaching all the funny, interesting, wonderful young minds. I taught volleyball, soccer, basketball, badminton and dodgeball mainly and I love to create new interesting ways to help kids get active and have fun. I am also no stranger to arts and crafts, or other creative activities. I have been in school for a long time now and haven’t been able to do much coaching or teaching but I would love to get back to uplifting the young people in our communities and hopefully helping out some parents in need of an extra hand.

Babysitting for : -1 boy around kindergarten age(1 month) -1 girl around second grade with diabetes(around half a year) -1 boy elementary school age and 1 younger sister also in elementary school(over a couple years I baby sat them after school until the older boy was old enough to look after them) -3 young girls, 2 in elementary school/kindergarten and 1 baby (from morning till evening) Working for the YMCA: -Youth sports coaching for ages 3-13 -daycare for children ~4months to 5 years -recreational youth activities and drop in programs -teaching arts and crafts -day camps -filling in for the cooking classes, dance classes and helping out the lifeguards in the pool

I went to Western University for my bachelor’s in Kinesiology and I attended Fanshawe college for the accelerated Massage Therapy program. I am very interested in being active and healthy, I love teaching sports/coaching but if kids aren’t into sports I definitely still have a passion for crafting.
