I'm Lacey, a dedicated Early Childhood Educator with nearly two decades of professional experience. Currently, I'm employed as a temporary Early Childhood Educator with Thames Valley District School Board, but I'm readily available for immediate part-time employment over the summer and through out the school year during evenings/weekends/PA days and March break. In addition to this rich experience, I'm also a loving mother of two grown children, so I understand the importance of nurturing and supporting children during these formative years. As someone who's worked extensively with children of all ages, from newborn to 9-year-olds, I'm confident in my ability to connect and communicate effectively with your little ones. I believe children learn best through their own play/imagination and through exploring the outdoors. I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 20 years of experience with babysitting, child care, and currently as a temporary RECE in the Kindergarten Program with TVDSB. I attended Canadore College in North Bay, ON where I obtained my diploma of ECE in June of 2005. Previous to college I babysat for multiple families in my home town of Killaloe ON which lead me to pursuing a career in Early Childhood Education. I did supply in North Bay at Lindsay Weld Centre for Children for a short time before our family moved to London, ON. This is where I began working for London Bridge Child Care Services at the Stoneybrook location and was there for 16 years. During my time there I have worked with all age groups from 0- 5 years of age. Currently I am a substitute for TVDSB in the Kindergarten Program.
