Jessica R.
I am a 22 year old student at Western University. I live on my own (not with family), and am hoping for an opportunity to make some additional income. I'm studying psychology and medical cell biology at Western, pursuing medical school. In addition to my undergraduate education, I am also taking a medical office assistant program online. I am also first aid certified. Needless to say, I have quite a firm healthcare and medical foundation - you can rest assured your children would be safe with me! I have served in the children's ministry program at my church for roughly 3 years, mainly with the toddler and infants, but with some weeks in the older grades. I attend church every Sunday, so I cannot be available on Sundays until the afternoon on a regular basis. But every now and then would be okay! Serving in children's ministry has been such a blessing, and has given me such a love for working with children. I come from an animal-loving household, with 2 cats of my own. I am willing to provide pet-care in addition to child care. As a current student myself, I am also willing to assist children with their homework if necessary, in any subject required. I have my own car so transportation would not be a problem. In the name of full transparency, I have one accident on my record from 2 years ago on the highway in Toronto, but aside from that I have never received a speeding ticket nor had any other issues of safety on the road otherwise.
I have been a children's ministry volunteer with my church for over 2 years now, mostly caring for infants and toddlers
