Grace P.
I’m Grace, an 19-year-old university student currently studying Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University. I come from a close-knit, supportive family and have always had a natural connection with kids. I’ve been passionate about working with children for years and have hands-on experience through the LEAP Program, where I’ve coached, taught gym classes, tutored and supervised young students in a school setting. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, trained in Concussion Awareness and Mental Health in Sport (NCCP), and have a strong understanding of child safety and development. I’m also responsible, dependable, and known for being calm under pressure. Outside of school and work, I enjoy reading, baking, going on walks, spending time with my family, and doing crafts—activities I love sharing with the kids I care for. I’m creative, organized, patient, and genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe, happy, and engaged. If you’re looking for someone who’s experienced, trustworthy, and brings positive energy to your home, I’d love to connect!
With several years of experience working directly with children through the LEAP Program at Catholic Central High, along with my certifications in First Aid, CPR, and coaching, I feel well-prepared to offer a safe, fun, and caring environment for kids of all ages. Through the LEAP Program, I’ve spent nearly two years coaching, refereeing, and leading elementary school gym classes. This hands-on experience has helped me develop strong skills in communication, patience, and child supervision. I’ve learned how to manage groups of children, plan engaging activities, and ensure safety at all times—skills that directly apply to babysitting in a home setting. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified and trained in concussion awareness and mental health in sport, which allows me to respond responsibly in any situation. Beyond my experience and training, I truly enjoy spending time with kids and creating a positive and playful atmosphere that supports their development.
