I am 24 years old, and have been working in the field with children since 2016. I have a passion for working one on one with children and their families, and appreciate being able to work as a team with parents to further their child's, emotional, behavioral, and self regulation; development, well-being, creativity, and passion for learning.
I love animals, spending time outdoors, and I am an advocate of supervised risky play. I believe in children being built up, and creating responsive, secure relationships. I understand parents are the expert of their children and look forward to building a partnership with families that will allow us to better support your child together.
I started working with children as a camp counselor in 2016, and I graduated from my program in 2021, and through the years have amassed a great variety of experience and knowledge working with many children, in different settings, and from different walks of life.
I am comfortable taking care of up to three children at one time, depending on their ages. I have experience minding up to 8 children in my care at a time in both camp, and before and after school settings. I have successfully completed field orientations at both Lockes Public School, and Next to Mom Daycare.
