Mary Jane G.
First of all, I'm 38 years old and still single. I used to work in Taiwan as a quality control/production line operator in a medical factory. I was an international student when I first came here in 2021. I've been working as a supervisor at Tim Hortons while still studying. When I had my open work permit after my school was finished, I took a class of early learning childcare level 1. My brother and his family recently moved to Calgary, so it's good to move to a new employer in Calgary if I'm able to. Back when they're here in St. Albert, I'm the one taking care of my nieces when their mom is going to work. I hope this experience will give me a chance to get assessed for the job.
I'm currently here in Leduc with a closed work permit as a Food Store Supervisor in Tim Hortons. I may not have experience as a nanny, but I do have experience taking care of my 2 nieces since 2021. They were diagnosed early last year of ADHD the first born and the second one with ASD, which gave us a heartbreak because we couldn't believe it happened to them. At first we thought it was just normal since they get jealous of the newborn baby brother, but things got rough. To make the story short, I know how to take care of children and deal with them when they're throwing out a tantrum. I hope this experience with my nieces and nephew will give me a shot for the position you're looking for.
