Are you looking for regular daytime care for your newborn, infant, or toddler, between the hours of 5am and 8pm? I may be able to help! I’m a 25 year old mom of two, looking to offer care to similarly aged children of my own (3yrs, 1yr) during daytime hours from 5am to 8pm, in my own home located across the street from Calmar Elementary School. I’m a creative, inventive individual, who believes in gentle parenting with patience and respect for children of all ages. My experience differs, with over 10 years of babysitting both my younger siblings, and many neighbourhood kids. I’ve overseen children of all ages, but as I have two young ones of my own, I feel the most comfortable with the 0-5 age group. My kids and I engage in crafting and puzzles, colouring and painting, and I’ve also taken to creating neat little sensory bins, utilizing materials such as water, snow, ice, soil, and sand. We are a messy play household, so you may want to send your child with (several) changes of clothes. I believe that children have most fun through exploring on their own without limitations. In addition to the above, we have an abundance of stimulating toys for both independent and team based activities. We also like to get out of the house at least once a day, weather permitting, and if provided with suitable winter gear, I have a small backyard, as well as the Willow Park School playground to frequent. I’ve been babysitting since the age of 12, watching both of my younger siblings, as well as many kids around the neighbourhood and the children of my parents’ friends.
