I am from Langley and have no problem travelling! I come from a close, supportive family that helped inspire my passion for working with children. I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of General Studies in Education, with double minors in Curriculum and Instruction and Social Justice in Education. I have several years of experience supporting children ages 1–12 in daycare settings, after-school programs, private respite care, and nannying. I am currently working as an Educational Assistant and nanny for two neurodivergent girls, providing individualized support, helping with daily routines, and creating engaging, child-centered learning experiences. I also have experience providing one-on-one care for a young teen with diverse needs, including personal care, emotional support, and mobility assistance. These experiences have strengthened my patience, adaptability, and commitment to inclusive, individualized care. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, crafting, crocheting, spending time outdoors, exploring local parks and trails, and making memories with friends and family. I love finding creative activities that encourage learning, imagination, and connection, and I often bring that creativity into my work with children. Families often describe me as warm, dependable, patient, and creative. I value open communication and strive to build trusting relationships where children feel safe, supported, understood, and free to have fun while they learn and grow.
