Reanna B.
I grew up in Langley and attended Langley Fundamental School before studying psychology for two years at the University of Victoria. Unsure of my career path at the time, I decided to travel solo to Australia, where I spent 2.5 years and met my fiancé, who’s from England. I then moved to the UK and spent five years working in hospitality, eventually progressing into management roles that strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Now back in Langley with my partner, I’m ready to pursue a more meaningful and fulfilling career. I’ve always loved being around children and recently decided to enroll in the Education Assistant program at KPU this fall. I believe this path will be both challenging and deeply rewarding. Outside of work, I’m passionate about the outdoors—I love hiking, climbing, and taking our family dog to the beach. I bring a lot of energy, a positive attitude, patience, and empathy to everything I do, and I’m excited for the opportunity to support and connect with children in a hands-on, nurturing environment.
I care for children with warmth, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility. I believe in creating a safe, nurturing environment where kids feel supported and encouraged to grow. I have hands-on experience caring for my best friend’s two children (ages 5 and 3), leading craft activities and birthday parties at Michaels Arts and Crafts, and volunteering at a school in Nicaragua. I love engaging children in creative play, outdoor adventures, and daily routines that support their development. My goal is to provide a positive, structured, and fun environment while building trust with both the children and their families.
