My name is John, and I use he/him pronouns. I am a trained caregiver and first aid responder, and I am also certified in CPR. I decided to become a caregiver because I find great purpose in positively impacting the lives of others and I feel fulfillment when I can make a difference. I was born and raised in a Christian family with biblical values. I learned that compassion and love for others reflect God's goodness in our lives; this is one of the reasons I pursued and underwent caregiver training. I have a passion for learning in all forms. If I have ample time, I enjoy reading books. I also like to watch documentaries when I don't feel like reading. In addition, I play video games in my leisure time. I trained as a caregiver in the Philippines. After that, I had my apprenticeship at a day care school in our local city for a month. I was assigned to help a 5 year old girl enjoy learning in school. She was a bit talkative, very playful, sometimes naughty but she never missed her four stars from her teacher because she was really doing good and got high scores in tests. I love spending time with children because I always see it as an opportunity to become part of their growth by also teaching them how to be responsible and be a human with a good soul.

I studied caregiving in the Philippines. After training I took my apprenticeship at a day care school for a month. I was assigned by my mentor to a 5 year old preschooler, her name was Elle. She was quite talkative, hyper, playful, sometimes naughty. My assignment is to help the kid focus on learning and at the same time enjoy school. I tutored her, taught her how to make her desk tidy, how to respect her teacher, parents, and other people she meet everyday. After a month, apprenticeship is done and I need to leave. I literally saw Elle sobbing and hugged her teacher while watching me bidding my farewell.
