Kirsten F.
My passion for childcare led me to undertake a Bachelors of Early Childhood Leadership at Fanshawe College for two years. There, my knowledge on child development and leadership skills were greatly nurtured. Post my graduation, I have accumulated three years of experience through various avenues. To begin with, I undertook a childcare placement at London Bridge, moving onto a kindergarten placement in a public school, and finally, working at family centres in London. Moving forward, four summers were dedicated to working in childcare whether that be in summer camps, childcare centres, or babysitting. I am equipped with a wide range of skills including cooking, light housekeeping, running errands or grocery shopping, preparing meals for children, transporting children, children's laundry, helping children with their homework, and more. Moreover, I am comfortable working with children of all ages from newborn to those over 10 years of age. Having experience in handling kids from all age brackets, I have acquired an understanding of their differing needs and aspirations. My education, along with my real-world experience, enables me to provide a nurturing environment for up to four or more children. My preferred set-up is both live-in and live-out, and I'm flexible and well-suited for various roles such as a nanny, mother’s helper, ECE, babysitter or tutor. Furthermore, I am armed with credentials like First Aid Training, an Associate's Degree, College Child Education Courses, an Infant/Toddler Educator Certificate, and an ECE License. As someone who can also work with children with disabilities, I pride myself in being understanding and patient. I am prepared to start from the 27th of January, 2026, and am available from morning until night, seven days a week. My experience, combined with my love for children and energy, I am confident in being a true asset to any household.
