My name is Mayuri, and I’m currently studying Health Sciences and transitioning into Nursing because I’ve always loved helping and caring for others. I have about two years of hands-on experience supporting seniors in both long-term care and home care settings. I’ve worked as a dietary aide, volunteered as a companion, and even worked in customer service, which taught me how to stay calm, patient, and friendly in busy environments. I also have over four years of tutoring experience with Camino, which helped me build strong communication and leadership skills—especially when working with kids or explaining things in simple, encouraging ways. I’m CPR and First Aid certified, and I genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with the people I care for.

I have extensive experience working with children in various settings. From a young age, I helped raise my four younger siblings—handling daily routines, school support, and emotional care, which taught me responsibility, patience, and leadership. I’ve also babysat for a private employer, where I maintained a safe and engaging environment for younger children. As a tutor at Camino, I worked closely with students to support their academic growth, tailoring my approach to their learning styles. Additionally, I assisted at a soccer camp, helping train and supervise children while promoting teamwork, discipline, and confidence through sport. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with kids and support their development in both structured and dynamic environments.
