I am 28 years old and recently graduated from Conestoga Colleges Practical Nursing Program. I am working towards working in paediatrics as working with children is something I enjoy. I am a very creative individual who enjoys arts and creates and creating activities for children to enjoy. I am also a strong swimmer and in the past when nannying children have taken the swimming or to outdoor activities. I have to younger sibling and growing up often watched over and helped my mom keep them entertained. I do have my own vehicle and am a fully licensed driver. I previously have worked in a daycare setting where I was required to watch a multiple children at a time (5-8 children) depending on the number for that specific day. Age range for the children was from 3 years old to 12 years old. Required to monitor children for safety, create and encage in creative, safe, and stimulating activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, lego building, and outside activities. I have also nannied for multiple families typically with 1-2 children in the age range of 4-9 years old. I have been required to do things such as cooking and cleaning. As well as driving the children to extracurricular activities, taking them to the swimming pool, and creating engaging activities to fill the day. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified and just graduated from Conestoga College in their Practical Nursing Program.
