I'm Kelly, a loving mom of two daughters and a grandmother to two precious boys. I've been privileged to take care of my eldest grandson while his parents were at work, but now that my daughter has maternity leave, I find that I have more free time. I'm young at heart and have an immense love for children, nurturing them and providing an environment full of fun, learning, and importantly, structure. Living in Kitchener and having robust experience of 30 years in childcare, I am comfortable working with children at various ages, from newborns to those aged 9. While ideally, I prefer to work with one child at a time, my experience as a mother and a grandmother has equipped me well to handle the tasks of babysitting, mother's help, housekeeping, as well as nannying. As a reliable individual and a good driver, I can run errands, grocery shop, transport children, do laundry for children and family, and help children with their clothing and homework. Beyond this, I also cook, keep the kitchen neat, and walk dogs. I can start immediately and available throughout the week at any time, whether morning, mid-day, evening, or night. For your peace of mind, I'm willing to obtain a police check. I don't smoke, can swim well, have the capability to travel for work, and own a vehicle which can be used on the job. My spoken language is English. Note, however, that I am primarily interested in part-time, live-out arrangements and unfortunately, I am not qualified to work with children that have disabilities. I have been caring for children since I was a teenager. My most recent experience was caring for my grandson while his parents worked. I worked 10-12 hour days and was responsible for all aspects of his care as well as keeping the house clean and tidy.
