My name is Ella and I have just finished my undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Classics. I have a big family with 5 other siblings, as well as 11 younger cousins. I enjoy reading, going for walks, doing crafts, hiking, travelling, and of course hanging out with kids! I also love spending time outdoors. I’m a creative person and enjoy creating fun and unique play environments for kids, such as creating obstacle courses, treasure hunts, crafts, and more - depending on the ages of your children. I’m a responsible young woman and I believe that I am able to create a stable, comfortable and safe environment while also making my time with your children fun and memorable.

I have babysat on a fairly regular basis since I was around 15 years old. I started taking care of all my younger cousins, then worked as a day camp counsellor, and since then I have taken care of roughly 6 different families with different aged kids. I’m able to work with children of all ages and identities, and have lots of energy for the kids who always want something to do! I am able to meal prep, help with school and reading, cleaning the house and doing chores, bathing and feeding the children, and putting them to bed. I’m definitely an extrovert, and have lots of energy for playing and telling stories. I’ve worked with children that have various levels of energy and I’m fully able to accommodate and create appropriate games or crafts depending on the age and interest of the child. I spent my summer as a full time nanny and thoroughly enjoyed it. Throughout all of my child care experience I have always been a fun, approachable, and hands on caregiver who really enjoys spending time with kids.
