My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a second-year student at UBC Okanagan with a strong passion for working with kids. With a background in martial arts since the age of 9, I have had the privilege of teaching children aged 3–12, which has been a positive experience that has helped shape my patience, strengthen my leadership, and sharpen my communication skills. Additionally, I am certified in First Aid, have my own vehicle, and am very dependable and organized. I also love the outdoors, enjoy being active, and find mindfulness in art and creative projects. I have assisted in teaching martial arts to kids for over five years through the Seikido Martial Arts Federation, working with age groups ranging from 3–4 years old to 5–12 years old. This experience has taught me not only how to engage children in fun, active learning but also how to support their growth, confidence, and discipline in a positive environment. I love working with kids and have a natural ability to connect with them. I am independent, reliable, and own a vehicle, so transportation is never an issue.
