Victoria B.
Hello, my name is Victoria. My background includes a recent graduation from the University of Western Ontario in the Health Sciences program, and I am currently enrolled in Toronto Metropolitan University's Public Health program. Not only do I have an academic proficiency in health, but I also come armed with six years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, right from newborns to those over 10 years old. My heart beats every time a child's face lights up - it is one of the biggest reasons why I enjoy lending my time to the summer camp my parents run. It has not only grown my affection for kids, but has equipped me with valuable career-defining experience. I am as comfortable wiht light housework and event planning as I am cooking, shopping for groceries, helping with homework, and providing quality pet care. Being brought up in a French-speaking household and educated in a French school, I am fluent in both English and French. This helps me communicate better with a wider range of families and also allows me to offer tutoring services if needed. As an active sports enthusiast with a love for volleyball, I can promise your children will have plenty of playtime and activities. In terms of logistics, I live in Hamilton and can work around most days and hours of the week. I have a clean driver's license and am comfortable to use my vehicle for transportation to and from activities, if required. Please note, I am mostly interested in full-time or part-time live-out nanny positions, and while I am unwilling to relocate, I am more than happy to travel for work. Not only am I a non-smoker, but you can be assured of emergency preparedness, as I have CPR and first aid training under my belt. Also, I am capable of handling kids with special needs and special dietary requirements as needed. I look forward to meeting you, and potentially supporting your family's needs, ensuring the children under my care flourish and thrive.
My past childcare experience is that I was a French tutor a couple years ago, I volunteered at the SPCA march break summer camp in 2016, I helped with an after school elementary session and I have worked at a French summer camp for the past 4 years. I have also worked at a French Daycare and tutor/babysit kids occasionally. I currently live in Hamilton and am open to work anywhere needed:) I just graduated from Western University in their Foods and Nutrition program and now doing a second degree at Toronto Metropolitan University for Public Health.
I graduated high school in 2019, graduated from Western University in June of 2024.
