I am a mother, sister, aunt, and daughter. Before having my own little one, I worked for 6 years as a full time Registered Midwife, and though I may return to this fulfilling work in the future, I am dedicated to staying close to home during my son’s childhood. Throughout my high school and university years, I worked as a nanny, caring for young ones ages newborn to ten years old. I also volunteered with Good Beginnings, a free in-home support program for young families in need of help. I have up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Police Check, as I volunteer with my son’s school. I am caring, fun, responsible, and friendly. I am looking for part time reliable work, as I want to be home with my son before and after school.

I am 41 years old, and I have a lot of experience caring for babies and children. All through my high school and University years, I worked as a babysitter, and also as a nanny for 2 families. I have volunteered with newborns and their families through VON Good Beginnings in Hamilton, providing several months of weekly in-home visits to support one family at a time. I enjoyed caring for mothers and infants as a Registered Midwife in Owen Sound, prior to having my own child. And I now have my own son who is 8 years old and the joy of my life. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I am a mom of a 8 yr old boy, and I have a background in health care, specifically in midwifery. I am experienced with infant and toddler sign language, and Elimination Communication-- I am happy to practice these with the children I care for, if parents would like.

Bachelor of Health Sciences (in Midwifery) -- McMaster University, graduated 2011 Diploma in Photography -- Sheridan College, graduated in 2005
