Princess O.
I am a caring, patient, reliable, and flexible childcare professional with several years of experience working with children of different ages and needs. I am currently a college student and am looking for a childcare position that fits well with my schedule. I have professional experience working in a nursery in the UK with both babies and preschool-aged children, caring for groups of 15+ children at a time. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant in a school, where I provided one-to-one support to a child who used a wheelchair, including personal care, changing, learning activities and day-to-day support, while also assisting other children in the classroom. I hold First Aid certifications. As the eldest of four children, caring for younger children has also been a natural part of my life. I understand that every child is different, so I take time to learn their personality, interests, routines and individual needs. I want every child I care for to feel included, listened to, safe and comfortable. Outside of childcare, I enjoy reading, creative activities, cooking and baking, music, exploring new places and traveling. I particularly enjoy activities that allow children to be creative and curious, whether that’s reading together, arts and crafts, baking, playing games or simply spending time outdoors. I am respectful of each family’s routines, values and preferences, and I understand that building trust with parents is just as important as building a good relationship with their children. I am dependable, adaptable, easy to communicate with and always willing to learn what works best for each family. My goal is to provide children with a safe, caring and engaging environment while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in capable and responsible hands.
I have several years of childcare experience, both professionally and within my own family. I’m the eldest of four children, so caring for younger children has always been a natural part of my life. I have helped care for my younger siblings from a young age, including preparing meals, helping with routines, keeping them entertained, assisting with schoolwork, and making sure they were safe and cared for. Professionally, I worked in a nursery in the UK, where I worked with both babies and preschool-aged children. I cared for groups of 15+ children at a time and was responsible for their daily routines, activities, meals, personal care, supervision, and maintaining a safe and positive environment. I enjoyed planning and taking part in age-appropriate activities that supported children’s learning, development, and confidence. I also have experience working in a UK school as a Teaching Assistant, where I provided one-to-one support to a child who used a wheelchair. This included assisting with personal care and changing, supporting her throughout classroom activities, helping her participate in learning and play, and making sure she was comfortable and included. I also supported the other children in the classroom and worked alongside teachers to meet their individual needs. I hold First Aid certifications and understand the importance of safety, patience, communication, and reliability when caring for children. My experience has taught me how to care for children with different personalities, ages, abilities, and needs while creating an environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and valued. I would be happy to provide references and discuss my experience further.
