Maya C.
I am Maya, a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who loves working with kids. Currently, I am in my third year at the University of Guelph, majoring in Family Studies and Human Development. My ultimate goal is to continue my career in education, as I will be applying to teachers' college this September. My 2 years of working experience come from two different schools, serving children across all age groups. These placements have allowed me to effectively understand and connect with children possessing various personalities, further fueling my passion for childcare. I pride myself on my ability to handle tasks like light housekeeping, running errands, and grocery shopping, to name a few. Moreover, I am proficient in preparing meals for kids, managing children's laundry, and transporting children safely, made possible by my driving license and personal vehicle, ready to be utilized on the job. Although I reside in Stoney Creek and cannot relocate, I am more than willing to travel for work and available part-time from May 2026 until the end of August 2026. My flexibility extends to my availability five days a week - from Monday to Friday - throughout morning, midday, and evening hours. Additionally, I can briefly accommodate on Sundays. I am fluent in English, and have completed First Aid and CPR training to ensure the utmost safety of your children. I can look after a maximum of three children at a time, ranging from toddlers to teenagers. Nonetheless, my services are limited to Live-Out arrangements. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
I have experience in elementary schools and got to work with children of all ages.
