I am a 42-year-old mother to four wonderful children, and being a mom has always been the most meaningful role in my life. From a young age, I knew I wanted to care for and support children, and that passion has only grown stronger over the years. I am kind, compassionate, patient, and loving, and I bring those qualities into everything I do with children. I enjoy baking, colouring, knitting, camping, nature hikes, and doing crafts with children, as I believe these activities help build connection, creativity, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Children are naturally drawn to me, and I am comfortable working with children of all ages and developmental levels. I take pride in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive space where children feel valued, understood, and encouraged to grow.

I have extensive, hands-on experience caring for children of all ages and abilities. I am a mother to four children, ages 12, 13, 14, and 15, as well as three additional children through marriage, ages 1, 3, and 17. Parenting has always been my passion, and from a young age I knew I wanted to be a mother and caregiver. In addition to raising my own children, I have cared for children with learning disabilities, autism, Asperger syndrome, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays. My own son has developmental and speech delays, and through supporting him I have gained experience with speech therapy, physical therapy, and early intervention services, including spending many years involved with the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre. I have volunteered on school trips, participated in parent council, and remained actively involved in my children’s education and development. I am comfortable working with children at all developmental levels and am patient, nurturing, and attentive to their individual needs. Children naturally feel comfortable around me, and I take pride in creating a safe, supportive, and caring environment. Being a mother is not just my role—it is what I love and what I do best.
