I am an energetic and creative person who loves to come up with games and activities for children and youth. I am patient and kind, understanding how children's younger years experiences form the rest of their life. I love spending time in nature! In my many childcare jobs, I've seen how children's minds can expand in the outdoors. I have learned the importance of structure and boundaries vs unstructured time and letting children's intuition take charge

My name is Ren (they/them) and I am excited to get to know you and your little ones! My educational background is in Nursing, but after spending some time working in long term care, I wanted to return to where I knew my passions lay: childcare I have extensive experience working with children and youth of all ages. From working at summer camps (up to 10 children and youth at a time ages 4-17), to nannying (3 children aged 2, 4, and 6), to working in schools as a teacher and educational assistant (either in a class or 1:1), and finally at a day care (up to 8 children in my personal care, aged 1-4).
