I come from a big family, so I’m really used to finding calm in the chaos. I genuinely love working with kids and being part of their growth, it’s so fun watching them learn and discover new things. I live a pretty active and healthy lifestyle, and I’m also a huge animal lover (especially dogs!). I enjoy having a busy schedule and working hard. While I do enjoy the business world, I’ve always had a soft spot for nurturing relationships and helping people which is probably why I enjoy babysitting and nannying in my free time!

My name is Rachel. I graduated with a degree in business in 2022 from StFX in Nova Scotia and moved home to ON shortly after. I recently moved to Ancaster and am looking to see if any families close by may be in need of help. My experience with childcare is diverse. I have been babysitting for well over 12 years. I was a skating coach, teaching ages 3-7 how to skate for 6 years. In 2023, I was a morning nanny for a 4-year-old, 3-year-old, and newborn. I have lots of experience with babysitting newborns to 12 years old. I have my G license and my own car. I am in a bit of a career transition at the moment so while I can't guarantee long-term work, I would be happy to jump in and assist any family for the time being.
