To Whom it May Concern. My mother died of Alzhemier’s in my home, in my living room, surrounded by love and so peacefully that Jolyn, who was with me at that moment, and I had to decide if she had stopped breathing. That is a gift that cannot be valued. She had been on palliative care for 24 days…every day being told, “anytime”. During those 24 days, and for the 2 years before that, I was able to count on Jolyn and Stacy to take care of both Mom and me. During the 2 years, prior to my mother’s death, Jolyn and then her sister Stacy were the wind beneath my wings.
