My name is Jessica, and I am a current college student in an Early Childhood Leadership Degree Program. I have just completed my second year of this program, and have aspirations to attend teachers college following this to become an Ontario Certified Teacher in the elementary primary school setting. I have completed field practicum experiences in both toddler childcare settings, along with placements with young school aged children (kindergarten). I also have babysitting experience with infants and preschool aged children, along with volunteer experience in grade 2/3 classrooms. I have a passion for working with young children, helping them learn and grow, and believe in the importance of building strong connections with the children and their families. I do live in London, ON throughout the school year but live locally throughout the summer and am happy to help out as best as I can :) My family (4) moved to Stoney Creek from Oakville last summer so I am relatively new to the area. I love animals and have a cat named Nemo. Some of my interests include crafting, baking/cooking, and baton twirling (similar to dance) which I have also began coaching. I love being outside in the nice weather, having a good time, and am always interested in learning something new!
