I'm Ashtyn! I'm an enthusiastic Board-Certified Music Therapist with a passion for helping kids grow. I have over a decade of experience in teaching and childcare in eclectic settings, and a special love for caring for infants and toddlers. I've nannied privately for infants and toddlers, worked with kids in an overnight summer camp environment, taught music lessons to children aged 3-11, and worked as a Music Therapist at a children's hospital and private therapeutic clinic. I grew up in a large family and have been looking after kids since I was 12; at home, in nurseries, after school programs, and within the community. I have experience in housekeeping, tutoring, cooking, and I used to be a lifeguard! I love music, plants, playing outside, and learning to do by doing. I value holistic learning through play and discovery, and genuinely love watching children grow.
