My name is Julia, I currently work in long term care doing programs in Hamilton and have been in that field for a few years now. I went to Mohawk for Recreation Therapy and absolutely loved it. I have 2 sisters and am very family oriented, probably why Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year! I love to help others as much as I can and am always asking my co-workers if theres anything I can do to help. I'm very optimistic and love to see others enjoying life.

Although I have no professional experience working with children I have many years of life experience. I have experience baby sitting for a family friend who has 3 boys, 2, 6, and 8. My responsibilities would include caring for the boys, meal prepping, light house work, getting the boys ready for bed and ensuring they keep busy. My little sister is also 11 years younger than I am, with having a single mother I would be responsible for many duties related to caring for a new born, toddler, up until her pre-teen age now. I have an educational background in Recreation Therapy and therefore have many hours of training in sensory, montessori, plus many others.
