My main interests include psychology, sociology, behavioural management, and child development. My hobbies include music, food, hot yoga, hiking, and biking. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person who follows a person first philosophy. I am a big fan of Dr. Becky and take a lot of my parenting/childcare approaches from her. I am energetic, fun, and passionate about children's wellbeing and development.

I am a 30-year-old female, born and raised in Nova Scotia. I'm currently nannying and have some availability for more. working as a youth outreach worker part time. I have a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. Also, I have completed various courses that align with the ECE program, as stated by the ECE Training and Classification Services. I've cared for sets of twins, infants, toddlers and school age. I have a lot of experience with people of all different abilities, including specific disabilities and those with behaviour management. I have worked in the hospitals and nursing homes supporting patients and programming for residents, all with various risk levels of behaviours. I have always loved children and have experience with them from a young age. I have worked with youth in a work placement who had behavioural issues, mental illness, and often times exposure to trauma (I lead with trauma informed care.)
