My name is Maya. I am a Dalhousie MA student, big sister, and animal lover. Note: I am a virtual student and reside in Toronto. I have professional experience working with children ages 1 to 14 years. I am also the eldest of five siblings. As a result, my experience in childcare has come from both my professional life and my personal life. I have been trained in First Aid and CPR-C. I have also completed my High Five (principles of healthy childhood development training). This training, coupled with my educational background, which includes a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in History and a minor in English and a forthcoming Master's Degree, supports me to provide a safe and educational environment for your children. I am experienced in and happy to provide several household duties, in addition to childcare, such as cooking, laundry, organizing, and pet care. I have had pets in my family (both cats and dogs) for my whole life. I also have a cat, named Nala, whom I adore. As such, I am happy and comfortable working in a household with pets.
