Bronwyn C.
My name is Bronwyn, I’m a 21-year-old student from Ontario currently living in Halifax while attending NSCAD University. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Art History, with a deep passion for art education. My goal is to one day become an education officer in local art galleries and community centers, sharing creativity with others—especially kids! I’ve been caring for children since I was 12, including babysitting and working as a sleep-away camp counselor and arts & crafts coordinator. Growing up with a younger sibling also gave me early experience in creating a nurturing, playful environment. I love spending time outdoors, exploring the community, and coming up with fun, engaging activities that spark imagination. As a full-time student with a flexible schedule, I’m available for both part-time and occasional child care. I’m reliable, creative, and genuinely enjoy helping kids grow, play, and learn.
I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old, starting with babysitting for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with a younger sibling gave me early hands-on experience in providing responsible, nurturing care. I further developed my skills working as a sleep-away camp counselor, where I supervised and supported children in a fun, structured environment. In addition to general camp duties, I also served as the Arts and Crafts Coordinator, planning and leading creative activities for kids of all ages. These roles have strengthened my ability to manage groups, resolve conflicts, and create a safe, engaging space for children.
