I am currently completing my second academic year of Psychology at the University of Ottawa and am home for the summer seeking full-time employment beginning May 2025 to the end of August. I have held various childcare provider positions, including after-school pick-up, full-time nanny roles, and assisting with housework and schoolwork. I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable to express themselves and thrive. My enthusiasm for early childhood education drives me to ensure that every child is in an environment that encourages exploration, learning, and growth. I am committed to fostering a space where children not only feel secure but also have the freedom to explore and develop at their own pace. My focus is on promoting the healthiest, safest, and most enriching experiences possible for children to flourish in. I hold a valid driver’s license and have my own vehicle, which allows me to safely transport children to and from activities, ensuring convenience and peace of mind for parents. To further ensure the safety and well-being of the children in my care, I will be updating my Emergency First Aid CPR-C certification, along with completing a criminal record check and Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS). Along with that, I am able to assist in housework, meal prepping, dishes, laundry, pet walking, and errands at the families request. I am reliable, dependable, and always bring a positive, enthusiastic attitude toward caring for children, making sure they have as much fun as possible while also meeting their developmental needs.

I have a strong passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing quality care, I am excited to offer my experience and skills to families in need of childcare. I have worked in a variety of childcare settings, including after-school care, full-time nanny positions, and even volunteering in different child-focused environments. I take great pride in creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and explore their potential. In addition to child care, I am more than happy to assist with household duties, food preparation, and driving children to extracurricular activities. I am also in the process of updating my First Aid (CPR-C) certifications, as well as completing my Criminal Record Check (VSS).
