My name is Deola and I am a graduate of University with a diverse background. I was born in the Nigeria. Growing up, I was exposed to both Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa cultures, which has shaped my identity and worldview. I am bilingual and fluent in both English and Yoruba, which has allowed me to communicate with people from different backgrounds. I come from a close-knit family of Seven, including my parents, senior brother, younger brother and sisters. My parents have always emphasized the importance of education and hard work, which has inspired me to strive for excellence in my academic pursuits. We enjoy spending time together as a family, whether it be cooking dishes, going on hikes, or watching movies. Despite our busy schedules, we always make time to support and encourage each other in our individual endeavors. In my free time, I have a variety of interests that keep me engaged and curious. I love reading books, especially fiction and poetry, as they allow me to escape into different worlds and perspectives. I am also passionate about music and play the piano as a way to express myself creatively. Additionally, I enjoy playing sports like soccer and tennis, which help me stay active and healthy. Overall, my background, family status, and interests have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am grateful for the support and experiences that have influenced my journey.
My child care experience has been both challenging and rewarding. Being responsible for the well-being and safety of young children has taught me valuable skills such as patience, empathy, and organization. I have learned how to handle tantrums, diffuse conflicts, and create engaging activities that promote learning and development. Building trust and forming bonds with the children in my care has been incredibly fulfilling, and I have enjoyed watching them grow and thrive under my supervision. Overall, my child care experience has given me a deeper understanding of childcare and a passion for working with children.
