My name is Yudi, I am 34 years old and originally from Colombia. I currently live in Bedford, Nova Scotia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Languages, and I also work as an elementary school teacher in the public school system of the province. I have over six years of professional experience working with children in educational settings, including newborns, toddlers, school-age children, teenagers, and adults. My background as a teacher has allowed me to develop strong skills in child development, communication, classroom management, and emotional support. I am passionate about creating safe, structured, and nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and feel valued. In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mother, which has given me a deeper understanding of children’s daily needs, routines, and emotional well-being. I have experience caring for infants, including my own child, and I am very attentive to details such as feeding routines, hygiene, diaper changes, and age-appropriate play and learning activities. I have also worked in different childcare environments, including taking care of a pair of twins in West Bedford for almost three months, which I truly enjoyed. Additionally, I had a rewarding experience as an Au Pair in the United States, where I cared for two wonderful children, Diana and Andrés. In my home country, I cared for a neighbor’s baby, Thomas, from six months of age until he turned one year old. I have had experience caring babies, some of them were my host kids Diana and Andres, I had a short and amazing experience as an Au pair in the USA with a beautiful family. Furthermore, I took care a neighbor's son :Thomas, for one year since he was six months, I know how the babies' routine is, I am pretty careful with their food, alert with their diaper change, willing to spend time playing together.
