I was raised in Burlington and my first job was as a babysitter for one family. I worked for over four years while attending high school, covering early morning and late-night shifts where my tasks included getting the children ready for school, preparing meals, and tending to their various needs, such as bath time and bedtime stories. I have always loved taking care of children, from newborns to teenagers, due to my innate nurturing tendencies. I come from a large family - my mother had eight children, and I myself have three. I have successfully raised three daughters, the youngest of whom is a recent graduate at 23. Now, as an empty nester, I find myself missing the presence of young children to look after. Over the past decade, my four sisters and I shared in the caregiving of our mother until her passing. My sister and I also cared for our father until his recent passing at the age of 95. As an adult, I have amassed a diversified work portfolio. I worked for over 15 years as a customer service representative in a financial institution. Apart from that, I also worked in the healthcare field, where for over 10 years, I was the owner of a massage clinic employing 2-3 full-time therapists. For the past 11 years, I have been self-employed, working out of my home as a Registered Massage Therapist. Due to the need for carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, my surgeon suggested a career change. After spending the past three years as my father’s full-time primary caregiver, I am now ready to rejoin the workforce. I am currently seeking a job as a live-out nanny, mother’s helper, or childcare provider. I am nurturing, honest, loyal, organized, and self-directed. My experience extends to taking care of children, from newborns up to teenagers, as well as seniors. To ensure the smooth running of a household, I am willing to run errands such as grocery shopping, dropping off and picking up dry cleaning, waking up and dressing children, feeding them, and transporting them to and from school, swimming lessons, playdates, and other activities. As a safe and responsible driver, I also try to encourage walking whenever possible for environmental reasons. I am primarily available in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings, yet am open to date nights, occasional overnights, and weekends.

As a teenager I was "the fun reliable babysitter “ in the neighborhood. I have always enjoyed playing and taking care of children. As the mother of 3 grown daughters (the first 2 were 16 months apart and my youngest is 23). I do miss being around and taking care of children. In the past, I have cared for babies newborn/4 weeks and up. I am nurturing, honest, loyal, have good communication skills, time management and organizational skills. I am NOT fixated on my cell phone. My time and energy is focused on your child and their needs. I am passionate about working with children and providing them with a safe, nurturing environment. I enjoy hiking, whether it is around the block, along a trail, to school or to the park. I enjoy actively playing games, hide and seek, being creative doing crafts, reading with or to your child among other things. Having aging parents, I have gone through the process or organizing and cleaning out an entire house. Through this process I realize that I enjoy organizing, creating a clean, tidy well run home. I worked in the financial industry for 15+ years, having 3 children and returning to college to become a Registered Massage Therapist for 20+ years. I am a natural-nurturer and I enjoy taking care of all ages-from newborn upwards. I owned a massage clinic for over 10 years managing a staff of 3+RMT'S. While running my massage clinic I became proficient in management skills, organizing, scheduling staff, laundry++ and working with a wide range of clients/personalities from age 6-92. I continued working from my home and as a mobile RMT for an additional 10 years. I am a problem solver, organizer, nurturer, reliable self directed woman.
