I am into arts and crafts, bicycling, reading a lot to children taking them out on excursions, libraries, playgroups, museums etc are incredibly fun. I am 45 years of age, adore ages between 12 months & up. Love to clean, no ironing though, I have been doing this for 24 great years with plenty of great references. I have my first aid, police check and Earlychildhood Education, vaccinated. I live near the Museum of Nature, VERY reliable, barely miss a day of work. Looking for part time, but will work part time 4-5 hours a week. The more kids the more fun. When I was in my 20's, I volunteered a lot for children's parties at the YMCA and volunteered for ChildFind (on rideau canal). Which still exists.. bright yellow vests ring a bell? I am only looking anywhere around centretown up to westboro only. $15 hour only. I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I can make food for them, not much of a cook, but I will cook if needed. I live by myself, I tend to eat out more, I take them out on excursions, change diapers if needed, read to them, play with them (tickle) or act silly. Play in puddles, take them to playgroups or playgrounds. I mostly go outside with them mostly in the summer, nicer weather. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: I adore children so much that there is a family that I used to work for about 4 years ago, the only had one boy who was 1 year old and nearly everyday I took him by the O-train to Chapters also took 3 boys and one girl to the Dairy Queen (biking of course). I have the best time with children. I have my Earlychildhood, first aid & police check. Graduated from St. Mary's High SchooI in Brockville (1000 ISLANDS) graduated in my 20's from St. Lawrence college, with a fine arts diploma, I paint on the side just for fun, sadly never made enough money to make a living. Then I moved up here, decided I was still young & took Early childhood education courses, graduated after 10 years. Worked all day then went to school & night, very glad I did it that way.

I love children. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, where I focused my interest in children and adolescents. I am certified in CPR for adults and children. I believe in interacting with children, not sitting there and just watch them. I enjoy playing games (and have even invented some). I have worked with children almost all my life. I have worked with all sorts of kids. When I was teaching private flute lessons, I worked with kids who had a learning disability. I engineered ways for them to be their best while teaching them what they needed to know. I have a bachelor's of science degree with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology.

Hellooo!! My name is Courage from Nigeria. I'm a student and I babysit as a part time job. I love children and I love music as well. Children most times are so sweet but it takes patience to work perfectly with them when they are out of that mood. I do my best to work perfectly with them and I am looking forward to working with you. In my previous job at Baseline road, I watched my boss' children on weekends and sometimes weekdays. 2 boys and a girl whose ages range from 1 to 4. It definitely was a beautiful time as I love spending time with children. I'm looking forward to working with you :))

Hello, my name is Malika and I’m from the Ivory Coast. I moved to Canada in August last year to pursue my bachelor’s degree at the University of Ottawa. I’m 19 years old and have a deep affection for children. Back in my home country, I used to babysit my nieces and nephews, and I adore my youngest brother, who just turned 2 in March. I spent a lot of time caring for him, which has given me valuable experience in childcare . In addition to babysitting, I can also handle light household chores. My love for children, combined with my practical experience and ability to handle household tasks, makes me a strong candidate for a babysitting role. I’m excited to bring these skills to a new family here in Canada. I just moved to Canada for my studies and have 3 years of babysitting experience, including caring for my brother from infancy to age 2. Fluent in French and English, I'm excited to create a safe and fun environment for your kids.

My name is Arpita. I’m originally from India and moved to Canada a year ago. I studied sciences in St. Catharines, and I’ll soon be attending Algonquin College to pursue nursing because I’m passionate about caregiving—whether it's for people or pets. Growing up, I helped care for my younger siblings while my mom worked, which made me a responsible and nurturing person. Children naturally feel comfortable around me, and I love engaging them through playful, creative activities. I’ve worked with a range of age groups and enjoy reading to children, helping with homework, and creating fun learning moments. In addition to child care, I have experience with pets—I've had rabbits, dogs, and cats. I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, and grooming, and I don’t mind large or shedding animals. I’m adaptable, dependable, and always ready to adjust to different family needs and schedules. I speak English and Hindi, and in my free time, I enjoy listening to music, exploring nature, and learning new things about health and wellness. Factors That Impact the Babysitter's Rate in Gatineau

When hiring a babysitter or Nanny in Gatineau, it's essential to understand the various factors that can influence the salary you'll be paying. Unlike a full-time nanny, a babysitter often works on a more flexible, part-time basis, but several key elements can still affect their hourly rate. Here's a look at the main factors that impact how much you might pay a babysitter. Location Where you live significantly affects how much you'll pay for babysitting services. In high-cost cities like Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal, babysitters often charge more to align with the higher cost of living. Conversely, in smaller towns or rural areas, the rates are generally lower. Always consider the local market when determining what’s fair to pay a babysitter in your area. Experience and Qualifications A babysitter’s experience and qualifications are crucial factors in determining their rate. Babysitters with several years of experience, certifications in CPR or first aid, or specialized training in early childhood education will typically command higher rates. Parents are often willing to pay more for a sitter who can handle emergencies, manage challenging behaviors, or care for infants and young children with confidence. Number of Children The number of children a babysitter is responsible for directly impacts the rate. Babysitting multiple children requires more attention and energy, and many babysitters charge extra per child. For example, if you're hiring a sitter for three kids instead of one, you should expect to pay more to compensate for the added responsibility. Duration and Time of Day The duration of the babysitting job and the time of day also play a role in determining the rate. Evening or late-night hours, when babysitters might need to stay until midnight or later, often come with higher rates due to the inconvenience. Similarly, if you're asking a sitter to work for an extended period, such as a full day or over a weekend, you may be expected to pay more. Additional Duties Babysitters are primarily responsible for the safety and well-being of the children in their care, but if you're asking them to take on additional tasks, like preparing meals, helping with homework, or tidying up, you should expect to pay a higher rate. These added responsibilities go beyond basic childcare and can increase the overall cost. Short Notice or Special Occasions If you need a babysitter on short notice or for special occasions like holidays or events, be prepared to pay a premium. Babysitters often charge extra for last-minute requests or for working on days when most people would rather have off, such as New Year's Eve or Christmas.

Nanny Payroll & Tax Services in Gatineau,Quebec?

As a Canadian employer, you are required to deduct and remit taxes on behalf of your nanny, much like businesses do for their employees. This includes contributions to the Canada Pension Plan (CPP), Employment Insurance (EI), and income tax withholdings. The wages you pay your nanny or babysitter can be claimed as a child care expense on your tax return, reducing your taxable income. We partner with nanny tax & payroll services that simplify the process of nanny tax preparation for a small fee.
