My name is Natalie. I am looking for a nanny position in Edmonton, Alberta. I am planning to utilize my abilities as a childcare worker. I am looking to work 25-35 hours a week but I am flexible to adding or subtracting weekly hours according to your individual needs as well. I have worked as a nanny since 2021 and since the children are all school aged, I now need more hours than what they are looking for. Working with children is my dream career as I love being there to help children learn and play in fun, engaging, and educational ways. I have a certificate as an ECE level one and as an EA through the Educational Assistant program. This course prepared me for working with children in adaptive and inclusive spaces. The program focused on understanding the needs of children of all ages, abilities, and communication skills. While completing my last requirement for schooling this I worked in a pre-k/preschool setting in the ECSD 100 Voices Program; an inclusive classroom for all children, specializing in supporting those with developmental delays. Let me know if you think we’d be a good fit! Service Abilities: I can take care of children of different ages, manage play supervision, reading books, and pet care. I am also more than willing to help out with house care. I can assist with meal prep, I am especially proficient in protein inclusive, kid-friendly, vegan/vegetarian meals as cooking is a great passion of mine. I also have no issue including pre-cooked meats into meals if you would prefer this for your child/family. I am flexible in terms of responsibilities and tasks required of me. I am a fast learner so anything I am not familiar with I am still willing to learn and help with.

Just finished three years nannying for a wonderful family (will provide as reference upon request). I have my Educational Assistant Certification, ECE Level one, first aid, and a recent criminal record check. I love planning fun activities like arts and crafts, as well as outdoor activities.

I went into the Educational Assistant Program at MacEwan university because I struggled with school as a child and I want to be able to make sure no child is left behind and all children feel included. I am currently completing my practicum through MacEwan at the ECSD 100 Voices Pre-K program.
