my name is Lakyn I’m 26 years old, almost 27 years old. I was born in Calgary and raised in a small town about 25 minutes outside of Edmonton and I currently reside in south Edmonton. I graduated in 2013 and always worked with children, I have worked with children in special needs programs, I have nannied for two lovely families, and I’m currently an Early Childhood Educator with my Childhood Development Assistant (formerly level one. ) certificate, I have experience with ages 2 months to 18 years old. I also have Standard Level First Aid CPR/AED. I have always loved work with children, I love to see their eyes light up when they them learn new things, or experience new things. As an Early Childhood Educator, I work with all ages, we have to create curriculums for our classes, we always need to be supporting their learning, whether it’s running around outside, or playing Simon Says, or counting games. We always have themes we follow whether it’s colours, shapes, animals, or cars. We support their physical and mental development in everything we do. I take great pride in teaching them and growing with them.
