My name is Bridgette. I am 26 and I grew up in Edmonton but both sides of my family are from the Netherlands. I have 3 younger sisters and 2 younger brothers so I have always been very responsible and have lots of experience with childcare. I have a niece and nephew now too. I have also volunteered in the church nursery, babysat for quite a few different families, and volunteered at a summer camp for kids. I am a gentle, quiet, clean, and honest person. I enjoy doing anything artsy or active in my spare time.

I have never been a nanny before but I do have quite a bit of experience caring for children. I have 5 younger siblings and being the oldest child, I was like a second mother. I have probably been changing diapers since I was 10. My parents were gone a lot in the evenings so quite often I had to make dinner, help with homework, make sure everyone takes a bath or shower, and get everyone to bed on time. I also babysat for quite a few families with children ranging from newborn to age 12 for some extra cash as a teen and I volunteered as a babysitter in the church nursery on Sundays. Two of the families that I babysat for included special needs children (autism). I believe in being strict, but also fun. I enjoy helping with homework or early learning and I believe all children should have a balanced diet and sufficient exercise. I believe in gentle parenting/nannying and I believe that every child is unique and has different needs and different communication and learning styles. I also enjoy cooking and cleaning. You'll never come home to a mess.

I graduated from high school in 2015. I attended a babysitting course in the past and I also took a CPR and First Aid course somewhat recently, although I think my certificate needs to be updated.
