I'm Stella, a 29-year-old Ugandan native from Kampala. I belong to a large, spirited family of three sisters and two persevering brothers. A lifelong learner, I love reading, writing, and discovering new knowledge every day. My hobbies include dancing, playing basketball, and watching football. As an immigrant from a challenging background, I'm hugely grateful to live in this peaceful and opportunity-rich land. Working with children and aiding the less fortunate is my passion. I find immense satisfaction in being supportive, spreading cheer and positivity, and bringing smiles to people's faces. Respectful of differing perspectives, I'm sociable and enjoy open dialogues that offer a glimpse into other's lives. I dream of being a social worker, a role fitting to my patient, compassionate nature, and my genuine delight in offering help. Looking ahead, I'd be honored to contribute to your esteemed organization.
I have worked in a Child Care for five months. In less than 3 months I was given full time with my own group of ten kids. Working in a Child Care really changed my mind about my major in Social worker. I am amazed me how much you can really learn from the young once. They are very humble, creative, Respectful, intelligent, fast learners you just have to be patients with kids etc. It was a pleasure working in Child Care back in my old city, the kids put smiles on my face everyday and every morning I was very happy and ready and early to go to work that how much I love working with kids.
