I grew up in/around Rimbey with my parents and two older brothers until moving to Edmonton in August of 2026. I spend a lot of time with my family - playing sports, card games, listening to/playing music and exploring. I absolutely love art of any kind, and personally enjoy playing the piano and making any kind of craft. In my spare time I like to read, create something, or learn (specifically about brains, which is what I hope to end up in career wise). I'm super interested in brain development, as well as how brains change, how they handle major changes/stress, and how they affect our bodies. I consider myself to be very empathetic, understanding and quite an effective communicator. Additionally, I'm flexible and always open to discussion regarding payment, scheduling, and expectations.

I was working with kids as soon as I was old enough! I did my basic babysitting course when I was 11, and then went on to do occasional, casual babysitting for families in my neighborhood from then on. I worked at Camp Kasota West in Sylvan Lake for a full summer, directly running programming and taking care of kids from grade 1 to 10. Due to the nature of the camp (being sleep away), I worked through huge ranges of emotions, sicknesses, injuries, and big behaviours with a very diverse group of kids. I worked with BGC Rimbey for about 7 months helping run an after-school program for elementary school kids, often guiding crafts or sports games and supervising many children at once. Most recently, I've worked consistently as a nanny for two families - doing basic household chores, playing with the kids (one family aged 4 and 2, and the other family both 2 babies under 2), feeding them, and following through with the families schedules and preferred disciplinary actions (that I am comfortable with, of course.) I also tutored an Elementary school student and a high-school student briefly, both on math.

I have my ECE level 1, and I've taken some online psych and neuro classes through the University of Lethbridge. I intend to study psychology and hopefully neuroscience at the University of Alberta in the near future.
