Roya K.
I'm a 21-year-old who is deeply passionate about working with children from all backgrounds, a passion rooted in my experiences caring for my younger siblings in a large family. My professional background is in psychiatric nursing, where I hold a diploma, am provisionally RPN eligible, and am currently pursuing my degree. This gives me a unique understanding of child development and behavioral support, especially with children who may have diverse needs. Outside of my studies and family responsibilities, I maintain an active lifestyle through weightlifting and stair climbing at the gym, enjoying walks when the weather permits, and engaging in sports at the rec center with friends. I also love to unwind by reading and cooking. Academically, I’ve always been driven, consistently achieving honours throughout my education, and I bring that same dedication and responsibility to every role, including my past retail experiences.
