My name is Marie. I come from a family of four, and I’m the youngest currently the only one still living at home with my mom. I’ve always loved children and wished I had a younger sibling, so I began babysitting to help out family members. I enjoy doing different activities with kids, helping them with homework, and creating a fun, supportive environment. I speak French and recently graduated high school in 2025. I’m now attending university to pursue my master’s degree. Outside of school and childcare, I love doing hair, especially braiding, and I enjoy learning new skills.

I began babysitting in Grade 9, starting with family, where I was paid for my work. My responsibilities included picking the children up from school, bringing them home, helping with homework, preparing meals, and supervising them until their parents arrived. When I turned 17, I began babysitting outside of my family. I cared for a family of four children, ages 4 to 10, for one week. My duties included getting them ready for school, taking them to the bus stop, picking them up after school, assisting with homework, entertaining them, taking them to soccer practice, and preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
