My name is Allyson. I am 18 years old and a recent high school graduate. I have been babysitting and watching over children for many years, sometimes as jobs and other times as helping out family and friends. This experience has given me the opportunity to work with kids of different ages and personalities. I am incredibly patient, responsible, and dedicated. I truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and positive environment for children, especially when it includes crafts. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I am comfortable with extra responsibilities such as cooking, light cleaning, helping with homework, and caring for pets. Families can count on me to be respectful, dependable, and to treat their children with the same care and attention I would give my own family. My childcare work experience varies from watching over my little brother, family friends, and professional. I have the most experience with children 12 and younger however i am comfortable with what is needed. My duties included: Feeding the children dinner, getting them ready for bed and put into bed, reading stories, playing outside with numerous games such as- hide and seek, tag, and playing on the playground. I also ensured all dishes were clean and the messes were picked up. Working at a library the past year has shined a lot on my creative side as i did many crafts with the children and many children display boards, watching over them and seeing how they bring out their artistic side- i find very rewarding.
