I'm Rekha, a 40+ woman with extensive experience working with children and organizing activities for them. I have the ability to create engaging drawings for children and teach them through storytelling and various games. In addition to caring for children, I am also capable of managing household chores for up to 2 or 3 children. I have studied child psychology and early childhood care and education, and hold an ECE Level 1 certificate from Alberta, Canada. I am skilled in cooking and doing laundry, and prioritize cleanliness and hygiene in my daily life. I am a punctual, hardworking, and reliable individual.

I bring over 14 years of experience working with young children, along with strong educational qualifications and a genuine passion for supporting children’s growth and development. I hold a Master’s degree (M.A.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from India, and I have also obtained Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Level 1 certification from Alberta. For 14 years, I worked as a primary school teacher in India, where I developed strong skills in guiding children’s learning, managing classrooms, and supporting their emotional and social development. After moving to Canada, I have continued working with children and have over one year of experience as a Child Care Provider in Edmonton. In this role, I have supported children’s daily routines, ensured a safe and nurturing environment, organized educational and creative activities, and worked closely with families to meet each child’s individual needs. I am patient, reliable, and dedicated to helping children feel safe, confident, and happy. My background in education allows me to support early learning, homework help, and age-appropriate developmental activities. I take pride in building positive relationships with children and maintaining open communication with parents.
