Nooran A.
My name's Nooran, but you can call me Noor. I'm 23 years old and am passionate about advocacy, self-love, cats, and creative writing. Although I am a homebody, I love taking walks on sunny days and don't mind going for field trips every now and then. Raised in a diverse household, being half Filipino and half Palestinian, I believe in respecting the values of culture while maintaining openness to individuality. Through my education and experiences as a Child and Youth Care practitioner, I firmly believe that every child deserves intentional love, care and attention towards all aspects of their development and well-being. If I had to describe my approach towards childcare in a few words they would be: authentic, empathetic, and open. If you have any questions about me, feel free to ask! Additionally, I would welcome a conversation about what you're looking for in a nanny.
I do not have nannying experience, however, I have babysat and cared for my nieces and nephews at different ages, worked as a Early Childhood Educator, and have other experience working with children and youth. I am eager to try nannying and explore my skillset a little more!
I received my Diploma in Child and Youth Care from Grant MacEwan University in 2023, and am working towards completing my Bachelors. I have certification for CPR/AED Level C, First Aid, ECE level 3, a valid Police Intervention and Vulnerable Sector Check, and a valid IRC (Intervention Record Check).
