Sharlene J.
My name is Sharlene and I am a third-year elementary education student at the University of Alberta. I am originally from Sunshine Coast BC and currently residing in Edmonton. I have four years of working experience with children aged 1-5 years, including those with special needs. My passion is providing children a loving and fun environment while also instilling strong organizational and cleanliness standards to shape a healthy future for them. For those needing a part-time babysitter who can take care of the children as well as the house, I am available all weekdays throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. In terms of my skills and qualifications, I have a Bachelor's Degree, First Aid Training, and a Special Needs Educator Certificate. My main duties would include cooking, light housekeeping, preparing meals for your kids, doing the children's laundry, keeping the kitchen tidy, walking your dog, and keeping the entire house clean. While I can offer my care to a maximum of two children at a time, I am more than just a caretaker to them. I aspire to be a positive influence and a role model, helping to build a brighter future for them. I am excited to bring my skills and dedication to your family and look forward to the opportunity to contribute positively to your children's development. Please note, I am currently only looking for live-out arrangements and am planning to start from July 24, 2025. Looking forward to your consideration.
Where I had lived previously (Sunshine Coast BC), I was a childcare provider for a young girl aged 3 and provided all week care which included taking care of her, cooking, driving to appointments/sports, play, child development. Before this job I collected my highschool volunteer hours at a local elementary school, grades 3-4 and am currently taking my bachelor of elementary education
