I was born in Costa Rica and raised in Edmonton, growing up as the oldest in a large family where I developed a deep sense of responsibility, patience, and care from a young age. With years of experience working with children, I have cultivated a nurturing, reliable, and attentive approach that makes me well-suited for caregiving roles. Beyond my experience in childcare, I am a music educator, singer-songwriter, and alternative folk artist incorporating music, storytelling, and creative play into my interactions with children, helping them explore their emotions, develop confidence, and express themselves in meaningful ways. I love nature, painting, crafts, theatre, games and more. I am Red Cross First Aid certified, calm under pressure, and always enthusiastic about creating engaging, educational, and safe environments for the children I care for. My interests include music, outdoor activities, holistic wellness, and cultural traditions, all of which shape my approach to fostering a well-rounded and enriching experience for those under my care.
